Applications are invited from persons who are interested in doing provincial SBA moderation (grades 10 to 12) in May 2018. Information and application forms are available here. 

Please note that the dates are also available and teachers should keep themselves ready for this if they are selected for moderation.

Provincial SBA moderation - June 2017

The latest information about dates when the provincial SBA moderation will take place is as follows:

Gr 10: 1-5 June 2017
Gr 11: 9-13 June 2017
Gr 12: 17-21 June 2017

Provincial SBA moderation - May 2017 - Grade 10

The following schools were selected for provincial SBA moderation of grade 10.

Please ensure that material is prepared and submitted as required by the examination section.

Dates for Free State provincial SBA moderation

According to a circular, the dates for the Free State NSC provincial SBA moderation are as follows:

Grade 10: 11-15 May 2017
Grade 11: 18-22 May 2017
Grade 12: 25-29 May 2017

Applications are invited from persons who are interested in doing provincial moderation in May 2017. Information and application forms are available here.

District SBA moderation (by subject advisers)

The finalisation of SBA moderation in Lejweleputswa is scheduled to take place from 11 October 2016. All schools are involved in this activity.

Please study this general circular from Head Office in this regard. In addition to the circular, specific and important arrangements will be emailed to schools in due course.

Material for this moderation must be submitted at the Kopano building as early as possible on 21 September 2015. The next day it will be taken to the moderation venue in Bloemfontein.

Please note - this is PROVINCIAL moderation; not the moderation done by your subject advisers in the district. More information about the latter is available here.

Final moderation of grade 12 SBA marks

Specific arrangements (dates, etc.) for this year's physical science moderation will be shared in due course.

SBA Moderation: May 2015

• The responsible teachers must please ensure that everything is complete and available for delivery or collection (the office of the SAAC will arrange) by 15 May for grade 11 and 22 May for grade 12.
