Olympiad for grade 10: Round 2 on 14 August

14 August is around the corner and the excitement is building up! After round one of the grade 10 Olympiad (read here about it), the four team members of every school were identified and they are busy preparing for the 54 cluster competitions across the Free State in which 310 teams will take part; it is 1240 learners!

Each one of these learners will receive a participation pack that consists of very nice stationery!

The participation pack
Even more exciting is obviously the prizes. In each cluster competition, there will be a first, second and third prize.

Top left: 2nd prize; bottom left: 3rd prize
On the right: 1st prize
Top performers in the cluster competitions will then be invited to take part in the district finals on 11 September! That will be something to work very hard for. Each participant in the district finals will get a Casio pocket calculator and the winners will obviously get prizes as well.

Things just get better and better! Work hard and prepare for the cluster competitions to do as best as possible. The better your team does, the better your changes to proceed to the district competition!
